Attic insulation · Greater St. George
Your attic is the biggest barrier between a 150°F roof and your ceiling. Properly installed attic insulation slows heat gain in summer, holds conditioned air in during winter, and helps your cooling system work less.

Is your attic under-insulated?
More insulation is not always the answer. We look at the insulation you have, how evenly it covers the attic floor, and where air is leaking around lights, ducts and ceiling penetrations, because gaps and compression reduce performance. Common options include blown-in insulation such as cellulose, rolled insulation and spray foam, and we recommend based on your attic, not a standard package.
Rooms under the attic heat up quickly in the afternoon and stay warm after sunset.
A cooling system that runs through the evening may be fighting heat coming through the ceiling.
Settled, compressed or patchy insulation, or exposed ceiling joists, are signs it is worth a closer look.
